Just Eat is giving away free food this bank holiday weekend — including McDonald’s

The sun is out, it’s a bank holiday weekend, and the cherry on top of the cake is that you can also nab yourself some tasty freebies over the next few days from the likes of McDonald’s, Greggs, and more.

That’s because Just Eat is extending its popular Freebie Friday promotion across the long weekend, giving customers the chance to nab free items every day.

You’ll be able to get your hands on free food at breakfast, lunch and dinner times from popular spots such as Burger King, Prezzo, Tortilla, Pizza Hut, TGI Fridays, and more.

For Maccies fans, this means you can enjoy a free Hash Brown in the morning with your breakfast order, or after 11am there’s six free Chicken McNuggets, or a Mini McFlurry if you’d prefer to cool down with something sweet.

Those who want a snack can opt for a free Greggs Sausage Roll, or turn up the heat with spicy Chilli Cheese Bites from Burger King.

However, there is a catch.

In order to claim your freebie, you do have to order something from one of the participating restaurants between now and 27 May — and you’ll need to meet a minimum spend to qualify.

But the good news is that there’s no limit to the amount of orders you can make per day, so you can claim several of your favourite items for free.

Other treats up for grabs as part of the promotion include Pizza Hut Delivery Wedges, Garlic Bread from Prezzo, Chocolate Cookie Dough from Creams, Mozzarella Sticks from Frankie & Benny’s, and a Pepsi Max from Caffè Nero.

Claiming your freebie couldn’t be easier. When you order your meal from the Just Eat app, you’ll be presented with an option to add a free item once the minimum spend is met.

And those looking for more ways to save money on food over the bank holiday are in luck, as there are plenty of other deals you can take advantage of.

For instance, right now with TopCashback, the money-saving website is currently offering 100% cashback up to £15 at Dominos.

That means shoppers can grab the Dominos ‘Home Alone Medium Deal’ (which is a medium pizza, a 500ml drink, and a side) for just £3.99 after cashback (usually setting you back around £18.99).

How good is that? All you need to do is sign up via this link, and checkout as usual.

And McDonald’s fans can currently enjoy three items for £3 as part of the chain’s Mix ‘N’ Match deal, which features nine items and allows for 165 possible food combinations.

The deal, which is running until June 11, includes small fries, a cheeseburger, a hamburger, Mayo Chicken, four Chicken McNuggets, apple pie, veggie dippers, a side salad and a Mini McFlurry, but the McFlurry must be from the core range of Oreo, Maltesers or Smarties.

The delicious three item combo is available in all UK stores from 11am but don’t get caught out if you’re ordering it for home delivery,  as fans recently spotted that the cost of the meal deal bumps up to £4 for the three items because of the delivery charge.
