London is one of the most stunning cities in the world but it can be hard to experience on a budget.

That’s why a National Trust membership is such a jammy buy. It gives you access to some of the most amazing locations in the capital – as well as 500 spots across the UK. And it costs just £3.80 month for 18 to 25 year olds and £7.60 for 26+.

Plus, if you’re in a couple, you can snap up a membership for just £6.60 each. And with the summer fast approaching, we think that’s the perfect investment for some hot weather day dates.

Fenton House and Gardens in Hampstead is such a beautiful spot. You can explore the 17th-century house and its unique collections of ceramics, needlework, paintings and early keyboard instruments. Or soak up a summer’s day in the tree-laden gardens.

In the heart of East London is Sutton House and Breaker’s Yard. Located on Homerton High Street, the Tudor house was built in 1535 for an aide to Thomas Cromwell and often has free exhibitions to enjoy.

A little further out, you have Claremont Landscape Garden in Surrey. This grade 1 listed garden was created by the great landscape designers of the 18th-century and you can soak up the hot weather by enjoying a picnic by the man-made lake or even hiring a boat out onto the water.

Membership not only offers you free access to 500 spots around the UK but it also means free parking at most National Trust car parks. You’ll get a National Trust handbook, as well as a magazine three times a year.

But more than that, you’ll be paying to help preserve these amazing locations for future generations to enjoy as every penny goes towards looking after the nature, beauty and history of the sites.

Plus, if you sign up via annual Direct Debit you can receive a £15 National Trust gift card. Talking about spoiling yourself.

Now that’s an offer we can’t refuse.
