The priciest home currently for sale in the Bay Area is available for a mere $110 million. Re-listed in January, the Green Gables Estate in Woodside is still on the market after a $15 million price cut.
Built in 1911 for industrialist Mortimer Fleishhacker, the 74-acre property has stayed in the family for five generations. It includes seven separate residences with 34 bedrooms and 26 bathrooms across 23,900 square feet.
Over the years, the English-inspired estate has hosted notable figures and grand events including the United Nations 20th anniversary gala. Disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes stayed in one of the homes during her criminal trial in 2021, according to reports.
The abundant grounds include three swimming pools, a 100-yard Roman pool, and its own reservoir. There are also orchards, groves and trails to explore.
