Retro football shirts have become a huge style staple and ahead of this year’s Euros, it’s time to show our love for the beautiful game.

Liverpool FC has just released its brand new kit and the design is a cool 1984-inspired strip.

Designed by Nike, the new kit offers a modern twist on the classic style sported by the team back in 1984 when they beat Roma in Italy to win the European Cup Final.

The classic yellow and red colours are complimented by some retro stitching around the collar.

The authentic Liverpool shirt will set you back £125 in both men’s and women’s sizes.

But a replica Home Stadium jersey is just £80 and available for men in sizes small to triple extra large and women in extra small to triple extra large. You can personalise your jersey with your surname or a nickname and even add your lucky number to the back.

The material is designed with sweat-wicking technology that helps to keep you cool, which is perfect if the British summer decides to throw us a surprise heatwave.

For smaller buys, you can snap up the brand new socks for just £18. The over-the-knee style is machine-washable and made from sweat-wicking yarns that help to keep your feet dry.

If you’re buying for the Liverpool FC fan in your life, the official store has lots of gift ideas and personalised items for less than a tenner.

A large mug is just £8, whilst a pair of cosy mule slippers are just £18.

If you feel like splurging, the Ultimate LFC Experience costs £445 and offers fans a day at the Axa Melwood facility, where they’ll learn to play and even travel in on an LFC Players Bus.

Definitely an easy way to get into a loved one’s good books. And if you splash out now, just imagine what your Christmas present will look like…
