One throuple are now raising an unconventional family after two wives fell pregnant at the same time.
Lavish, 40, Booey, 34, and Boo, 24, have been in a polyamorous relationship since 2020.
And this year has been a big year for the trio, as they welcomed a new baby three months ago – and have another on the way, due in WHEN.
When the new baby arrives, the throuple will have eight children between them.
‘We all share the parenting and our kids all say that they love being one big family with lots of siblings,’ Lavish, who lives in Iowa, details.
‘For us, polyamory means loving each other, being honest with each other and being committed to the development and betterment of each other.’
When it comes to parenting, they’re open about their relationship with their children, but they aren’t expected to call both Booey and Boo ‘mum.’ It’s their choice.
Likening their relationship to ‘one big package deal,’ Lavish was initially in an open relationship with Booey, when they met in 2015.
After the pair decided that they both wanted a girlfriend, they introduced Boo to the dynamic – and they haven’t looked back.
The three met after Lavish spotted Boo at work, and they hit it off straight away. After excitedly introducing her to Booey, their romance blossomed.
Boo had been in relationships with people of all genders previously, and despite never trying a polyamorous dynamic before, was very open to it. She moved in with the couple in December 2020.
As a family, Lavish and Booey each have a child from previous relationships, and together have an eight-year-old son, as well as a daughter who sadly passed away.
Now, Booey is currently pregnant with their third baby together.
As for Boo and Lavish, they have a two-year-old, a one-year-old and a three-month-old baby, which crossed over with Booey’s pregnancy. Boo also has a four-year-old from a past relationship, and together, the children love their family dynamic.
In the future, Lavish, Boo and Booey are looking to host a ceremony in Florida where someone will ordain their relationship.
‘Booey and I had nothing but good reactions from our families about the relationship. Booey’s parents even live next door to us,’ Lavish shares.
‘Boo had a little bit of pushback from her family, but they are getting used to how things are so it’s a bit easier now.
‘We are currently happy with our set-up, but if there is someone else out there for us, then we believe they will present themselves. We don’t block any blessings and if it’s meant to be, it will be.’
In public, sometimes people confuse Booey and Lavish for Boo’s parents, given the sixteen-year age gap between him and Boo.
Now he’s in a polyamorous relationship, Lavish describes it as the ‘most honest’ he’s ever been, since in monogamous relationships he ends up ‘lying’ to his significant other.
